    Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! I am Dong Yu from the Guangzhou Automobile Research Institute and I am the chairman of this conference. I am very happy to gather together with industry leaders, experts, scholars and guests in Shanghai to participate in this summit.     At the end of October, at the SAECCE conference held in Jiading, Academician Li Jun, Chairman of the Society of Automotive Engineers of China, released the "Energy-saving and New Energy Vehicle Technology Roadmap 2.0", confirming the development of global automotive technology with "low-carbon, informatized, and intelligent" The direction, in-depth analysis of the new mission, new needs and new goals given to the auto industry in the new era, and put forward six major goals for the development of my country’s auto industry in 2035, namely:

    China's auto industry carbon emissions will peak ahead of the national carbon emission reduction commitments around 2028; by 2035, total carbon emissions will drop by more than 20% from the peak. This general direction is the central idea of ​​Technology Roadmap 2.0. New energy vehicles have gradually formed the mainstream of the industry, and the automotive industry must realize the transformation of electric vehicles.

    Under this general situation, the electrification of automobiles has become a major trend in solving the development of the energy environment, and both domestic and international development will move in this direction. Through energy-saving hybrid power, as well as continuous innovation in the development of electric, pure electric, and hydrogen fuel cells, the real wide application of new energy and renewable energy will be realized, and the strategy of energy diversification and power system diversification will be shifted.

   Under this opportunity of the times, the 2020 China Automotive Powertrain Electrification International Summit opened today. The summit organizing committee invited leading domestic and foreign companies to focus on the technical routes, development strategies and architecture of the electrification of automotive powertrains. Focus on topics such as electric bridge drive problem solutions, key electrification technology development, hybrid integration technology and control technology. Discuss together the next-generation key technologies and future development trends of powertrain electric drives.

    The forum will last for two days and will allow everyone to share their insights through discussions such as expert speeches, theme round tables, and interaction with guests. It is expected that the guests at the conference will build consensus on this conference platform and make active efforts to help the industry develop.

    This summit is the first conference for the electrification of powertrain in China's automobile industry.
