At present, it is necessary to strengthen the construction of electricity and hydrogen charging and other infrastructure, and speed up the formation of expressways and urban and rural public charging networks featuring fast charging. Financial support will be given to the construction of charging piles as public facilities.

      On the same day, the meeting decided to intensify key technology research and encourage the development and innovation of vehicle operating system and power battery. We will support the in-depth integration of new-energy vehicles with the energy, transportation, information and communications industries, promote the coordinated development of electricity-driven, internet-connected, and intelligent technologies, and promote the docking of standards and data sharing. We will encourage the application of electrical changing modes. We will encourage closer international cooperation in the field of new energy vehicles. We will increase policy support for the use of new-energy vehicles in public services. Starting from 2021, the number of vehicles in public sectors such as public transport, rental, logistics and distribution in the national pilot zones for ecological progress and key areas for the prevention and control of air pollution will be increased or renewed, and the proportion of new-energy vehicles will not be less than 80 percent.
