    However, the Volkswagen Group recently announced that it will launch the ninth-generation Passat model in 2023. This car will not only share the production platform, electrification structure and powertrain with Skoda Supa, but some versions of its models will also be put into production in Skoda’s new plant. . The Emden plant in Germany, which has been producing Passat for more than 36 years, will start the renovation work in the near future, and will start production of the pure electric vehicle Volkswagen ID.4 from 2022.
