On August 13, China Automotive Engineering Research Institute Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "China Automotive Research Institute") officially launched the "Vehicle Engineering data cloud platform Benchmark Stripping benchmarking Project" in the laboratory of China Automotive Research Institute. This project is based on the vehicle resources and data capability of China Automotive Research Institute, and jointly launched with the scientific research capability of Chongqing University of Technology. The project will establish an automobile engineering data platform, providing highly valuable data resources for the research and development of automobile enterprises.
Benchmark technology, as a benchmarking analysis method, was first used by Xerox in 1979. By disassembly and scanning the body parts of vehicles, Benchmark technology established a perfect automobile database and output the evaluation report, providing a powerful reference for automobile enterprises to research and develop competitive models. BM data analysis in recent years, become a car factory, design companies and parts enterprises understand the industry present situation and the main method of standard models, can understand the performance of the standard model through the analysis of the BM, lightweight level, the information such as design, material, process, help to shorten the development cycle, to speed up the new, to optimize the design of the vehicle, collect the innovation concept, improve the quality of the product.
As early as 2016, CAAM, together with Citic Microalloying Technology Center, China Automotive Materials Network and other units, held the "Benchmark Analysis and Automotive Performance Development Technology Seminar" to explore the Benchmark project. This project and dismantling vehicles, all from China of bari index evaluation of models, these vehicles will be scanned for measurement, performance testing, dismantling, scanning point cloud processing, 3 d modeling and CAE analysis, and finally form the model analysis, the whole process, will complete the basic performance parameters of the acquisition of vehicle and the vehicle static parameter measurement, vehicle geometry precision reduction, analysis of vehicle structure and technology for the vehicle performance simulation analysis and benchmarking car coin organic material, performance test, etc.
The launch of "Disassembly benchmarking Project of Automobile Engineering Data Cloud Platform Benchmark" of China National Automotive Research Promotes the resource reuse of existing tested vehicles, improves the diversity and activity of China National Automotive Research data, and lays a solid foundation for the research and development of service vehicle enterprises. It will play a great role in the rapid establishment of distributed vehicle and parts database, and it is of great significance to comprehensively improve China's auto independent development ability and promote the leap-forward development of domestic enterprises' vehicle development ability.
In the follow-up projects, China Automotive Research Will also cooperate with media platforms to plan video columns around car dismantling projects, so as to form accurate touch of automobile science to consumers.
