On May 27, 2023, the T10 ICV CTO closed door summit hosted by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers was held in Suzhou High Speed Rail New City. This meeting brought together CTOs and expert representatives from 14 leading enterprises including T10 and more than 40 enterprises upstream and downstream of the intelligent networking industry chain. The conference conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges around four themes: industrial chain innovation collaboration, automotive operating systems and intelligent connected vehicle data security and application, and the implementation of autonomous driving in mass production. The China Automobile Association and Suzhou High Speed Rail New City have signed a strategic cooperation agreement on the above four aspects. At the same time as the meeting, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers officially released the first micro kernel open source project in the China Automotive Operating System Open Source Program.

　　The Chinese automotive operating system is a strategic location that the Chinese automotive industry must overcome when transitioning from a major automotive country to a strong automotive power. The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers recently conducted multiple rounds of online consultation and offline visits to domestic automotive industry chain related enterprises regarding the open-source plan for automotive operating systems. Various units actively supported and responded, and provided valuable suggestions and feedback on open-source work. The open source plan focuses on the co construction of industrial ecology. We hope to work with more industry colleagues under the leadership of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers to jointly build a Chinese solution for intelligent connected automotive operating systems, and resolutely win the battle for Chinese automotive operating systems.

The Software Branch of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers has released the China Automotive Operating System Open Source Plan and launched the Open Source Operating System Microkernel, which will help promote technological development in the automotive industry The exhibition and open source ecological construction hope that all relevant units can form a sustainable automotive software innovation platform based on the open source pattern formation. "

　　He Jifeng, an academician of the CAS Member, said: "Microkernel open source has promoted the construction of a unified framework for automobile control. First, provide basic standards, agreements, and data, reach consensus on the level of public services, and how to achieve specific functions can blossom. The process of accumulation is very important. First, let the industry know that microkernel has development prospects, and everyone needs to invest together."

　　The open-source microkernel contributed by China Electronics Technology Puhua Basic Software will use the Mulan Public License (2nd edition). It has been publicly released through the Open Atom Open Source Foundation code hosting platform, including initialization code, core function source code, and Xinchi G9X adaptation code, totaling 122 files and 14883 lines of source code. It is planned to start POSIX PSE51 OEM pre research project at the end of 2023 to achieve Functional verification, functional safety verification in 2024, and mass production verification in 2025.
