According to the plan, the new car will make its global debut in February 2023, and be mass produced and officially launched in the second half of the year. Mercedes Benz eSprinter was officially put into production in 2019 at the earliest. It is a pure electric van with a maximum loading space of 10.5 cubic meters and a total weight of 3.5 tons. The appearance design of the new model is basically the same as that of the old model. Only some adjustments have been made to the details, focusing on increasing the configuration and improving the endurance performance.

The official said that the test was a long-distance driving test, starting from the Mercedes Benz Museum in Stuttgart and ending at Munich Airport. The whole route is an open road with a total length of 475km, the lowest elevation of 210m and the highest elevation of 785m. It is reported that Mercedes Benz has specially selected a route with altitude drop to fully simulate the daily use environment, so as to measure more referential range data. In the end, the average comprehensive power consumption of the test vehicle is 21.9 kWh per 100 km. After the whole journey, there is still about 20 km left for the vehicle.

In terms of power, the official has not yet released the specific information of the new car. With reference to the current Mercedes Benz Sprinter power configuration, the maximum power of the drive motor it carries is 116Ps, and the peak torque is 300N · m.
