On October 9, the Passenger Transport Federation released the news of wholesale sales of new energy passenger vehicle manufacturers. In September, it is estimated that the wholesale sales of new energy passenger vehicles nationwide were about 664000, up about 5% month on month and about 90% year on year.

The Passenger Transport Federation said that although the country has introduced an incentive policy to halve the purchase tax on fuel vehicles, the market driven growth of new energy vehicles is strong, driven by the high international oil price, the steady improvement of domestic demand for new energy, and the strong growth of new energy leading vehicle enterprises. In particular, the current consumption promotion policy for new energy vehicles in various regions is not less than that for fuel vehicles in terms of subsidy amount or coverage, promoting the continuous and accelerated growth of new energy vehicles.

Taking into account the balance between the production reduction factors and the incremental factors of individual major enterprises in September, the proportion of major enterprises in September remained basically stable compared with that in the previous month (more than 10000 vehicles). Therefore, the national new energy passenger vehicle market maintained a strong and good momentum in September. In August, 16 manufacturers' wholesale sales of more than 10000 vehicles accounted for 84.2% of the total monthly sales of enterprises. The estimated sales of these enterprises in September was 558000 vehicles. According to the normal structure, the national new energy passenger vehicle wholesale sales in September were estimated to be about 664000 vehicles.

In September, BYD's wholesale sales exceeded 200000 vehicles, again winning the championship. Tesla China's wholesale sales reached 83000 vehicles, ranking second. SAIC GM Wuling's wholesale sales reached 52000 vehicles, ranking third. The wholesale sales volume of Geely Automobile is approaching 40000, and that of GAC Ai'an Automobile Co., Ltd. is the first to exceed 30000, both of which have reached a new record high.
