1、 Development history
Xuchang Far East Transmission Shaft Co., Ltd. was founded in 1953, and was recognized as a professional manufacturer of transmission shaft by the Ministry of Machinery of the People's Republic of China in 1969. It was restructured into a limited liability company in 2004, and changed into a joint stock limited company in 2007. It was officially listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on May 18, 2010.
2、 Industry status
Far East Drive is a domestic enterprise engaged in the research, development, production and sales of non-constant transmission shafts. It is a national high-tech enterprise. It has been awarded the honors of "China's leading enterprise in the automobile parts transmission shaft industry", "China's top 500 machineries - top 50 automobile parts", "Top 100 automobile parts enterprises", "China's top 50 listed companies on the SME board", "Henan Provincial Governor's Quality Award" and so on. In 2018, it won the "Made in China Meritorious Award" in the selection of the "Foundation of a Strong Power - China Auto Parts Enterprises".
3、 Production capacity, variety and market share
Far East Drive has 1200 sets of production and testing equipment, 162 "U-shaped CNC one-stream production lines", and 60 robot production lines, with an annual production capacity of 6 million sets of non-constant transmission shafts. The products cover more than 8000 varieties of light, medium, heavy and construction machinery, which are widely used in all automobiles and construction machinery except cars. Road vehicles: from micro passenger and light truck to luxury passenger car and 300-ton heavy truck. Off-highway vehicles: from desert transport vehicles, exploration vehicles, loaders, hundred-ton dump trucks, excavators to seismic vehicles, fire trucks, 20T-800T cranes, the range of application and variety of vehicles can be called the industry model. The market share of light truck is 46%, the market share of heavy truck series products is 45%, and the market share of construction machinery series products is more than 60%, which occupies an advantage in the industry competition.
4、 Technology and quality
As a high-tech enterprise, Far East Drive is also one of the main formulators of industry standards. The technology center of the company is the state-approved enterprise technology center and Henan Automobile Transmission Shaft Engineering Technology Research Center. It has more than 300 patented technologies, of which 21 are invention patents. It has the "Academician Workstation of Intelligent Heat Treatment Technology for Auto Parts in Henan Province" and the "Research and Development Team of Digital Manufacturing Technology for Auto Drive Shafts in Henan Province" jointly established with Academician Pan Jiansheng of Shanghai Jiaotong University, and has successively developed and put into production the 12.5C and 720 series of heavy-duty truck drive shafts, breaking the foreign monopoly and meeting the special needs of China's economic construction and national defense construction.

Far East Drive has set up 46 marketing service areas and outlets across the country, supporting nearly 100 main engine manufacturers and becoming the supplier of many of them, including BAIC Group, North Benz, Shaanxi Heavy Truck, Dongfeng Liuqi, SAIC General Wuling, Jianghuai Motor, Dayun Motor, Anhui Valin, Jiangxi Jiangling, Chang'an Motor, Great Wall Motor, Zhengzhou Nissan, Yutong Group, Xuzhou Heavy, Guangxi Liugong, Shandong Lingong Sany Group, Zoomlion, Sanjiang Aerospace, Tai'an Aerospace and a large number of well-known customers. It has been rated as one of the top 100 auto parts suppliers in China for many years.
In order to implement the marketing concept of "zero time, zero distance, zero inventory", quickly respond to customer requirements, provide all-round quality services, and consolidate the company's position as a first-tier supplier, Far East Drive actively implements the strategy of "lean production, zero distance, auto base and branch", and sets up 10 wholly-owned subsidiaries in each major engine production base in the country, supporting more than 95% of the automobile and engineering machinery plants in the country, The products are exported directly or with the whole vehicle to North America, South America, Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East and other regions, and are honored as one of the outstanding representatives of China's auto parts industry. At present, the Phase I project with an annual output of 2 million sets of constant speed drive shafts is under construction, which is a key project for the new round of transformation and upgrading of Far East transmission. After the completion of the project, it will transform the company's single development mode of relying only on the non-constant speed transmission system for 50 years into the development trend of constant speed and non-constant speed dual wheels, and lay a solid foundation for the future development of Far East transmission.
