According to Reuters, Tesla has significantly lowered the prices of Model 3 and Model Y in Germany after lowering their prices in China.

　　Tesla has lowered the prices of the Model Y Long Range Edition and Model Y High Performance Edition by 5000 euros respectively, resulting in a price reduction of 49990 euros ($54340) and 55990 euros, respectively. Compared to the previous prices, the prices have been reduced by 9% and 8.1%, respectively.

　　Tesla also lowered the price of the Model Y rear wheel drive version by 1900 euros (a decrease of 4.2%) to 42990 euros.

　　Currently, as the price war between electric vehicle manufacturers intensifies, BYD is also lowering the prices of its electric vehicles in Germany. It is reported that BYD has lowered the price of electric vehicles by up to 15% in Germany to expand its leading position in key markets.

　　Germany's electric vehicle subsidy program was originally scheduled to last until the end of 2024, but ended early last month and is expected to hit German car manufacturers. Currently, German car manufacturers are working hard to lower their electric vehicle prices to the level of their Chinese and American competitors in order to maintain competitiveness.

　　Tesla announced last week that it will suspend most of its car production at its Berlin factory from January 29th to February 11th, blaming the tense situation in the Red Sea.
