On April 14, Euler Lightning Cat joined hands with Tianjin Zhongqi Center to successfully complete a series of collision challenges at the intersection of the driver's female dummy in simulated rainstorm weather. In the rapidly growing new energy vehicle market, the scale of female consumers is also constantly expanding. China is the world's largest country in new energy vehicles, with a total of 1.319 million new energy vehicles sold domestically as of March. Moreover, according to the 2023 New Energy Vehicle Female User Insight Report, the number of female drivers in China has reached 162 million. However, in the transition from the era of fuel vehicles to the era of new energy vehicles, although technology is constantly evolving, there is still a significant technological gap for individual women. A typical problem is that the technology, rules, standards, and other aspects of the automotive industry are all developed around the needs of men. The dummies used in collision safety testing are based on male body characteristics, ignoring the objective differences in physiological structure, driving habits, sitting posture, and other factors between women and men.

Two stage in-depth testing of the most difficult Euler Lightning Cat strength in history, successfully passing the level
From relevant domestic research, it can be seen that in accident scenarios, women are more likely to be harmed by the same compression, displacement, and acceleration at the same location. For example, women are three times more likely than men to suffer from cervical hyperextension injuries, 47% more likely to suffer serious injuries, 71% more likely to suffer minor injuries, and 17% more likely to die. The previous model of using male dummies to proportionally reduce the size of female dummies did not accurately reflect the injury situation of women in collision accidents.
This challenge mainly simulates the scene of a vehicle colliding in a series at an intersection due to slippery road surface after wading in water. The first stage of the wading test simulates the driving scene of the vehicle when encountering rainstorm or ponding. The tested Euler lightning cats are immersed in 30cm deep water for 2 hours. This item focuses on the waterproof performance of the vehicle's three electric system. After the soaking is completed, the engineer will check the vehicle for any electrical leakage or inability to drive. In the end, the Euler Lightning Cat, which had undergone a 2-hour wading test, did not experience insulation faults and no fault codes, and was able to drive normally with power on. The first stage of the static safety test passed with full marks.
Subsequently, the Euler Lightning Cat moved on to the second stage of testing, and the challenge difficulty increased again. The vehicle will challenge a more difficult and risky serial collision. Test vehicle A is a collision vehicle, also known as a bullet vehicle. The driver is equipped with a female dummy and the passenger is equipped with a male dummy. Test vehicle B is the impacted vehicle, with a female dummy installed in the driver's seat and a child dummy installed behind the passenger seat. It is equivalent to test vehicle B being hit three times, the first collision at the intersection, and the second collision caused by sliding towards the electric pole. At the same time, the bullet car did not stop and continued to press forward, followed by a third collision.
Both test vehicles withstood the extremely strict working conditions of a 1.9 ton bullet car hitting the side of the target vehicle with a hard front and a pole collision on the other side of the target vehicle. The structure of the bullet car's A-pillar and front anti-collision beam is intact, and the frontal collision performance is excellent. The main pressure bearing parts of the target vehicle, B-pillar, sill beam and upper side beam, have not undergone structural deformation, providing sufficient Lebensraum for passengers inside the vehicle. The seat belts of the two cars automatically pre tighten and trigger, and the main airbag, side airbag, and side curtain quickly pop out, effectively catching the crucial parts of the dummy. Secondly, the entire vehicle has no leakage, fire, or explosion, and the doors are automatically unlocked. The emergency rescue system actively calls out, providing passengers with sufficient emergency escape time and opportunities.
The Euler Lightning Cat has withstood this extremely difficult challenge. The safety performance of the entire vehicle has met expectations, providing ample safety redundancy and collision protection for all passengers.
