According to foreign media reports, the Audi A6 e-tron production version is expected to be officially unveiled in 2022 and officially put into production in 2023.

　　A6 e-tron will be the first model developed by Audi based on the PPE platform (Premium Platform Electric), which is led by Audi and jointly developed with Porsche. In the future, the PPE platform will be used to manufacture B-class to D-class models. The mass-produced car series under this technology platform will have the characteristics of long wheelbase and short front and rear suspension, thereby providing drivers and passengers with more cabin space.

　　For Audi, the combination of safety features and aesthetic design is particularly important. A6 e-tron is equipped with 3 small high-resolution LED projection light sources in the front part of the car. The projection system can project information such as vehicle travel status and pedestrian warnings.

　　A6 e-tron will be equipped with front and rear dual motors. The maximum output power of the system can reach 350 kilowatts, the peak torque can reach 800 Nm, and the cruising range is 700 kilometers under WLTP conditions.
