With the release of sales data for October by various car companies, the new energy vehicle market has ushered in the "Silver Ten" explosion, and multiple mainstream car companies have successively set new highs in delivery data. According to data from various groups, BYD broke the monthly record for the year with 441700 vehicles, leading the delivery chart with a cumulative sales volume of 3.7 million vehicles from January to October. In terms of sub brands, the sales of Equation Leopard have exceeded 30000, becoming a new important growth point within BYD Group, while Tengshi has achieved continuous sales of over 10000, continuing to contribute stable sales in the high-end market.

Geely Group achieved sales of 307100 vehicles in October, a year-on-year increase of 35% and a month on month increase of 12%, setting a new historical high. Among them, Geely Galaxy sold 127476 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 101% and a month on month increase of 5%, reaching a historic high. In the first 10 months of this year, Geely Galaxy sold 1.002 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 187%, achieving the annual sales target of one million ahead of schedule and becoming the fastest new energy vehicle brand to achieve one million annual sales.

Chery Group sold 281161 cars in October, a year-on-year increase of 3.3%. Among them, 110346 new energy vehicles were sold, a year-on-year increase of 54.7%, and for the first time, the monthly sales of new energy vehicles exceeded 110000; 126434 vehicles were exported, a year-on-year increase of 13%, with monthly exports exceeding 100000 vehicles for six consecutive months and a cumulative export of 1062862 vehicles.

Great Wall Motors sold 143078 new cars in October, a year-on-year increase of 22.50%; 46155 new energy vehicle models were sold, a year-on-year increase of 44.06%; Overseas sales of 57158 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 28.68%. From January to October 2025, Great Wall Motors sold 1066436 new cars, a year-on-year increase of 9.87%.

In terms of new forces, Zero Run Motors topped the list with 70289 deliveries, leading the new forces camp for eight consecutive months. The brand's monthly sales exceeded 70000 for the first time. Xiaopeng set a new historical high with 42013 vehicles, ranking third in October. The MONA M03 model has delivered over 10000 units for 14 consecutive months.

NIO delivered 40397 vehicles in October, breaking 40000 for the first time in history. Ledao contributed 17342 vehicles, and Firefly brand delivered 5912 vehicles. The multi brand matrix is showing its power, and executives have revealed that production capacity will continue to increase in November.

Xiaomi's monthly delivery volume continues to exceed 40000, with 424 stores nationwide. In November, it will expand to third tier cities such as Ji'an and Linfen.

Another noteworthy achievement is HarmonyOS, which delivered 68200 vehicles in October, a month on month increase of 28.9%. In terms of various sub brands, Wenjie still serves as the sales representative for HarmonyOS, with monthly sales exceeding 50000. The new R7 and S7 models under the Zhijie brand also achieved monthly sales exceeding 10000.

Some companies are facing short-term pressure, with Ideal delivering 31800 vehicles due to capacity ramp up, a year-on-year decrease of 38% and a month on month decrease of 6.43%. However, i6 model orders have performed well, currently exceeding 70000, and there is still potential for future growth. Guangzhou Automobile Aion delivered 27000 vehicles, a year-on-year decrease of 33%, and is continuing to seek breakthroughs through cooperation with JD.com on new products. It should be said that the collective peak in sales of new energy vehicles in October was the result of multiple factors including policy dividends, market cycles, and corporate layout. The primary reason is the strong overlap between the upcoming end of the "national subsidy" and "provincial subsidy" policies and the demand during peak seasons. As the "closing year" for the exemption of purchase tax on new energy vehicles in 2025, subsidies will be halved after December 31st. This time point has forced consumers to buy cars in advance, coupled with the consumption inertia of the traditional sales peak season of "Silver Ten", and the policy and market cycle have formed explosive market growth. At the same time, the intensive production of products has also boosted sales. A large number of new cars were launched in September this year, including the Equation Leopard Titanium 7, Arctic Fox T1, Enjoyment S9T, as well as popular models such as the all-new Wenjie M7, Shangjie H5, Audi E5 Sportback, Lynk&Co 10 EM-P, Tengshi N9, and Arctic Krypton 9X, providing more choices for users who are interested in changing cars. According to incomplete statistics, there were over 30 new fuel powered vehicles and new energy vehicles launched in the entire month of September. It can be foreseen that as the end of the year approaches, the sales sprint of various car companies will become even more intense this year, and the next two months will become the most important period for the end of this year for car companies.
